"When I believe in something, I fight like hell for it."
- Steve McQueen

The above quote from Steve McQueen in my opinion, should be a quote from every living soul. One thing I have always believed in is myself, and I will always fight like hell for my dreams.

A great example, my shop Cut & Scratch. Since I was a kid I always wanted a record store so I could listen to my favorite records and call it work! Well we all know record stores are few and far between these days, let alone record stores that make enough money to raise a family. Instead of giving up on it, I brainstormed on how to make it possible. What I came up with was a Barber Shop, Coffee Shop, Record Shop all in one. You can't buy a hair cut on Amazon, or download a shave on iTunes so it seemed like the perfect match. I through in the coffee shop so I could buy my addiction at wholesale, and the record shop let's me feel like it's Christmas every Tuesday when I order records.

Cut & Scratch struggled at first and had many days I probably should of thrown in the towel and called it quits. But I stuck it out through a rash of wrong turns, wrong employees, and two wrong locations. Now, it has found it's place in the world at 5 North Historic Main Street in Payson, UT.

Why am I rambling on about it? To let you know, when you're chasing a dream, detours happen, but never let them stop you from crossing the finish line. There is always a way to get what you set out for, however sometimes you just need to take a step back and re-route your course.

Below is a shot of the barber stations in the new location. I hope if you find yourself in the area you stop in for a cup of Death Wish Coffee and see one of my dreams that became a reality!

This weeks photo to benefit Best Friends Animal Society is the Marilyn Manson. I am excited to offer this print to support a cause so dear to Bella and I.

Thank you for listening to me carry on, and as my grandmother would say, "Bye for now..."

All the best,

Rob
